Confluence: The Journal of Graduate Liberal Studies is an interdisciplinary academic journal covering liberal studies that is published by the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs. It was established in 1995 as the Journal of Graduate Liberal Studies (ISSN 1082-6246) and obtained its current name in 2006.[1][2] The editor-in-chief is Ken Smith (Indiana University).

Scope

The focus of Confluence is liberal studies. Publishing formats encompass both scholarly and creative work, and both non-fiction and fiction. The scope of Confluence is essays, short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction, and visual arts.[3][4][5]
